Hey ho! It’s me again 🙂
Another post for weekly photo challenge, this time for the theme of “Scale”! I decided to use picture of Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy, which was taken from a hill next to the port. From above, we can see colorful buildings and boats which look small and cute (it might not be the right word, but anyway). It’s amazing how some things could be perceived differently, depending from which angle you are looking at it. Hope you like this picture as much as I do!
Sometimes I want to cry looking at my blog which I imagined to be updated regularly, but in the end becoming semi-hiatus because of my laziness (I tempted to defend myself that I was totally busy with work in the beginning). Since I am still thinking what to write in my next post, I will start with my favorite entry: weekly photo challenge! 😛
Referring to the theme of Temporary, I immediately remember on beautiful Sakura which I (luckily) witnessed during my trip to Japan. Only bloomed in spring, it is one of those natural events that (I think) everyone should consider if she/he gets the chance.
I am a relatively simple person with a common interest on book and traveling. Buying books has been a guilty pleasure for me because I feel some kind of satisfaction everytime I do it, and the pleasure even doubled once I finish reading the books. It does not always happen linearly since I have less time to read lately due to my work and other things, but for sure it will be part of my life which will always bring small happiness in my heart ☺️
Traveling is just amazing. I enjoyed the experience and new knowledge which I got when I visited new places and met new people. After hiatus for a while, I think it’s about time for me to pack my bag and go wandering again, this time with my significant other 😄
For the Weekly Photo Challenge of Unusual, I chose some pictures taken during my stay in Switzerland. I went to Charmey, Gruyere, with my friends to watch Désalpe, a major celebration that marks the end of the Alpine summer pasture season. We enjoyed a parade of cows decorated in flowers going through the village together with the breeders who looked very happy and excited with the celebration.
Parade of cows wearing flower crown and big bell passing a village was completely unusual for me. I commonly see cows only in the farm, and it was not wearing anything on its body, let alone a flower crown 😂
Ah. I miss Switzerland. Hopefully I can visit it again sometime in the future 😊
PS. I just have to post this picture because they were so cute and I miss these boys a lot. I suppose two little boys hang out with beers were also unusual for me (lol!). Don’t worry guys, their parents finished their beers before they posed 😂😛
Looking at this week’s theme of photo challenge makes me miss my camera. It has been a while since I last used it. I was learning photography in 2013 and also during my assignment in Switzerland. However after I came back to Indonesia, I was having difficulty to manage my time. Well, maybe also difficulty to manage my life somehow. I was fully occuppied with works with quite limited time to really do my hobby or something that I love to do. Not that I did not like my job back then, actually it was one of the most challenging and interesting job I have ever had. I could travel to different country, like India for instance, and I got to know new people and build my network.
Anyway, back to the topic, this time I post two pictures which I think could represent theme of Focus. The first picture taken during my flight from Jakarta to Surabaya, of course taken in flight mode 🙂
The other picture was taken during my trip to Japan when we were lucky to at least get a glimpse of sakura. Hope you will like them! 🙂
Catching up with Weekly Photo Challenge, this time for theme of Order. Lots of potential objects, but I decided to post these pictures taken during my trip to Japan. It is so refreshing to see how they put everything in order, even in sushi serving. Would love to go there again soon 😉
Soon passing out of sight, memory, or existence; quickly fading or disappearing.
My team in the office has been experiencing major transformation which forced us to split and work in different location starting last month. I am lucky to move back to my hometown, however my colleagues and friends need to move out to another country or city, which of course a big change in their and their family live.
Though we can still be in contact with one another, as many option of communication media is available, I know it will not be the same again. Our day to day interaction will be reduced a lot since we are not in the same office anymore. People tend to forget, as much as they want to keep remembering the good old feeling.
I might sound a bit too sentimental, but what can I say. I am anyway a people-person :”)
Good luck for all of us, and for sure I will miss you a lot guys. Hope to see any of you somewhere across the globe in the near future!
